God Draws the Stubborn, Michelle Minto I grew up meeting with the local church in Austin from the time I was eleven. I enjoyed all of the junior high and high school conferences, though I never planned to go to the Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA). I somehow believed that I was not spiritual enough to go to a place where Christians devote two years of being constituted with the truths of the Bible and being trained in Christian service. So I thought that I would simply go on in my Christian life attending the meetings and hoping to somehow contribute to building the Body of Christ (Ephesians 4:16). I went to college and graduate school with no plans of going to the FTTA. In 1999 I attended a week long training in Long Beach, CA. I was infused with a burden to be one who overcomes all of the negative and degrading aspects of this age and to be a part of the bride of Christ (Revelation 21:2, 9). At the same time, many people my age were in the Full-Time Training. I was hearing so many good reports from my own peers that I decided this was the way to go on with my Christian life once I finished school. Now after almost two terms in the Training, I am so thankful that the Lord allowed me to choose this way. I really enjoy the amount of time spent studying the Bible and the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. It has also been a great experience in learning how to pray and coordinate with teammates and encourage one another through ups and downs in our lives. The chance to serve the Lord has been a real highlight in my experience here. I cannot imagine what my life would have been had I not decided to come to the Training. Time spent here is priceless. My hope now is simply to be useful to the Lord in whatever capacity possible. I am so thankful to God for bringing me here. Main | History | Testimonies | Links Copyright © 2002. Christian Websites.
